Getting older gives us things to think about. Perhaps we appreciate life a little more and monitor the fragality of our mortality a little closer.

Today I celebrate a dear friend who is vibrant and healthy and retired. He is a kind man and a true class person that I admire.

Jim is also a writer. His two fiction books rival anything Tom Clancy has ever published in my opinion.

I met Jim in my professional life but truly hope our relationship flourishes in a new chapter where we can talk little about work and more about the important stuff. Our families and our writing.

I am expecting a great third novel Jim. I am one of your biggest fans!
